On Tuesday, November 29th, from 7 to 8 pm, Barnabas Health Hospice and Palliative Care Center will host a free workshop titled “A Time for You: Caring for the Caregiver” at the Union Public Library, 1980 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ.
“Caregivers frequently report feelings of isolation, loneliness, and uncertainty,” says Mary Murray in the Suburban News. Ms. Murray is a registered nurse at the care center. She adds, “Giving caregivers a place to share concerns and questions is the focus of the workshop. Topics will range from practical concerns, such as how to bathe someone, to emotional issues, such as sadness and anxiety.”
